We help young people and those not currently in education, employment or training, access career opportunities by providing them with the confidence, self-belief, leadership and digital skills to help them stand out.

Our story began when founder, Mick Westman, retired from his successful career at BT. A more relaxed life beckoned, with perhaps a bit of management training and consultancy to keep him occupied.
But after visiting Solihull College & University Centre and talking to their team about the challenges some students faced as a result of being “different” his passion to help young people was ignited. Instead of slowing down, Mick has been the powerhouse behind a plan to give as many young people as possible the chance to be the best they can be – and solve the UK’s digital skills crisis to boot.
Following a successful pilot in partnership with the College, Digital Innov8ors (now trading as Digital Innovators) was born and has gone from strength to strength.
Our Management Team combines experienced technology, psychology, engineering and management experts, with fresh ideas and challenge from our younger recruits.

Solihull College & University Centre has been the original base for Digital Innovators and source for the initial cohort of students for our program.
We are members of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce who support us in running events and contacts with local businesses.
The Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP were one of our original sponsors and have supported us throughout our journey.
The Skills Builder Partnership provides the national standard for teaching essential skills and supports progress for students of all ages and abilities – including those with special educational needs.
Career-Fit provides us with the tools and processes we use to increase our students self-awareness and help identify their potential career routes.
